Genesis 17
when Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am God Almighty; Walk before Me, and be blameless (NAS 17:1)
And I will establish My covenant between Me and you (NAS 17:2)
Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him (Gen. 17:3 KJV)
My covenant is with you, And you shall be the father of a multitude of nations (NAS 17:4)
your name shall be Abraham (NAS 17:5)
and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come (NAS 17:6)
I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants (NAS 17:7)
And I will give to you and to your descendants after you...all the land of Canaan,
for an everlasting possession (NAS 17:8)
you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you (NAS 17:9)
Every man child among you shall be circumcised (beschnitten)(17:10 KJV)
you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin (NAS 17:11)
every male among you who is eight days old shall be circumcised (NAS 17:12)
A servant who is born in your house or who is bought ..shall surely be circumcised (NAS 17:13)
But an uncircumcised male ... shall be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant (NAS 17:14)
Then God said to Abraham, ..your wife Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name (NAS 17:15)
..she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall come from her (NAS 17:16)
Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, "Will a child be born to a man one hundred years old? And will Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child? (NAS 17:17)
Ishmael might live before Thee! (NAS 17:18)
Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac (NAS 17:19)
He shall become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. (Gen. 17:20 NAS)
Sarah will bear to you at this season next year (Gen. 17:21 NAS)
when He finished talking with him, God went up (Gen. 17:22 NAS)
Abraham .. circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the very same day (Gen. 17:23 NAS)
Abraham was 99 years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin (Gen. 17:24 NAS)
Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised (Gen. 17:25 KJV)
same day Abraham was circumcised, and Ishmael his son (Gen. 17:26 KJV)
all the men of his household.. were circumcised (Gen. 17:27 KJV)
